  	Richard A. Drollinger 82, of Hoopeston, Illinois, forermly of Brownsburg, IN, died at 8:27 AM Thursday, October 13, 2011 at his home. As per his wishes his body will be cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Drollinger will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Brown-Alkire Funeral Home, 309 E. Washington St. in Hoopeston. The Rev. Janet Eggleston will officiate. Burial with Military Rites accorded by the American Legion and VFW Post's of Hoopeston will be at the Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston. Visitation will be from 1-2 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home with Masonic Rites accorded by Star Lodge #709 AF&AM of Hoopeston at 1:45 P.M. Memorials may be made to the Carle Hospice or to the Mooseheart Charity. He was born July 11, 1929 in Hoopeston to Ace and Lois McCool Drollinger. He married Mary Rosalie Whaley on Sept. 25, 1948 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She preceded him in death on Sept. 19, 1999. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by nine children, Richard (Lucy) Drollinger of Newington, Connecticut, Rebecca (Ed) Bunch of Lafayette, Indiana, Donna (Wayne) Turner of Covington, Georgia, Robert (Marcia) Drollinger of Indianapolis, Patrick (Gina) Drollinger of Orem, Utah, Patricia (Larry) Hendrix of Powder Springs, Georgia, Michael Drollinger of Powder Springs, Georgia, Thomas (Linda) Drollinger of Indianapolis and Mary Jo (Jeff) Cupp of Avon, Indiana; 27 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
