She was born the daughter of Johnnie McBroom and Lona Trollinger McBroom both deceased. She was the wife of Marvin L. Kimber "Bill". She was a life-long member of Green Level Christian Church where she served 36 years as the Church Treasure. She also served diligently with the Missionaries, Green Level Christian Church Choir, Green Level Christian Church Usher Board, Golden Age Club and the Ebony Club. She was a 1953 graduate of Pleasant Grove Union High School and was the long time secretary for McBroom Container Service as well as Sears. Survivors include her husband: Marvin L. Kimber "Bill"; daughter: Dr. Darlene K. Taylor (Erwin); 3 grandchildren: Mary Taylor, Justin Taylor and Skyler Taylor and a sister: Jean C. Miles (J.D.).
