  NOTE! Dollie and Sarah A. J. Watson may be one in the same people. Dollie does not appear in the 1870 Census named as Dollie as one would expect if her true birth name really was Dollie. However, Sarah does appear as Sarah A. J.. They both share the same birth year of 1861. Dollie was a common nickname of the time. Even though Dollie/Dolly is also a common nickname for Dorothy or Deloris it does not preclude it from being used however one wishes. Because Sarah A. J. does not appear in any known subsequent documents found on Ancestry.com as of this date (7 Jun 2021) it would further support the idea that she and Dollie are one in the same person. Another piece of supporting evidence is Matilda's obituary where it states she was the mother of seven children. If Dollie and Sarah are one in the same then the count of seven would correspond thus: 1 Dollie/Sarah 2 Jennie 3 Margaret 4 Charles 5 William 6 Florence and 7 Harry.
