- Howard R. Hosteter, 65, route 1, Mill Creek, died at 2:35 am today at the R.N. Nursing home, Teegarden, Ind., after a three-year illness. He was born in LaPorte Nov. 14, 1906 to Gabriel and Maggie (Bunton) Hostetler and had lived in the Mill Creek area all his life. Mr. Hostetler was a farmer and a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are the three sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Haag, New Carlilsle; Mrs. Sarah Keene, Woodlawn, Tenn, and Mrs. Hazel Dillon, North Liberty, six brother, Oliver, Gary, Melvin, South Bend, John, Walkterton, Bennie and Ear, both of Mill Cree and Gerald Hostetler, South Bend. His parents;one brother and one sister preceded him in death. Funeal services will be at 2:30 pm Wednesday at the Haverstock Funeral home with the Rev. E.H. Eckstein officiating.
