Violet is survived by her children, John (Jacqueline) Bowers, Peggy Bowers; grandchildren, Dawn Bowers, Shelaine (Dean) Gilmer, Patrick Bowers, Morgan (Gabriel) Lawless; and 4 great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Violet will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, 10722 E.
