- Services for Harold Keith Simmons. Sr., 77, of Canton, TX, are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday October 15, 2010 at Eubank Chapel under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, TX. He passed away October 12, 2010 in Canton, TX.
Mr. Simmons was born January 24, 1933 in Dallas, TX, to Clyde and Rachel White Simmons.
He was Baptist by faith. He grew up in Dallas, upon graduation he went to work for Sears. He was drafted into the US Army, but joined the Navy. He Served in the Korean Conflict. After serving in the Navy he worked for Temco (Air Craft) and then Mobil Oil for 37 years. He loved to work in his yard and garden and enjoyed giving away the vegetables he had grown.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents.

Wife of 30 years: Gwendolyn "Gwen" Simmons of Canton, TX. Sons: Harold Keith & Carolyn Simmons, Jr. of Martins Mill, TX. Bruce Allen & Sena Simmons of Martins Mill, TX.
Step Son: Robert Leslie Little of Canton, TX,
Step Son: Howard Keith Little of North Dallas, TX.
Brothers: Robert & Nancy Simmons of Midlothian, TX. Michael & Betty Simmons of Waxahachie, TX.
Ron & Linda Simmons of Athens, TX.
