A native of Laurium, Mich., Kelly lived most of his life in Nashville and was a graduate of the Cathedral School here.
He was an employee of Moore's supermarket at Hermitage Hills Shopping Center.
Kelly was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Flora Kelly; three sisters, Mrs. Robert F. Hill, Nashville, Mrs. John T. Barrett Jr., Donelson, Mrs. J. F. Ciesielsky, Buffalo, N.Y.; a son, Donald Wayne Kelly, Nashville, and a stepson, Donald H. Gregory, Nashville.
