- Doris passed away on October 30, 2014 at the age of 77. She was born January 5, 1937 in Rockland Township to Mamie (Houptley) and Clarence Rohrbach. She lived in Bowers for twenty one years of her life. She graduated from Kutztown High School in 1954 and has always looked forward to attending the annual class reunion. Doris worked for six years at Kelchner Cleaners, Kutztown as a silk presser and spent the subsequent years as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Doris is survived by her husband Dale M. Hollenbach; daughter Karen L. Coggins living in Littlestown, PA wife of Jeff Coggins; son, Kevin D. Hollenbach living in Blandon, PA, husband of Diane (Kemmerer) Hollenbach. She is predeceased by son, Alan, in 1960. Also surviving Doris are three beloved grandchildren; Meghan E. Hollenbach, Ryan D. Hollenbach, and Nadya E. Coggins. Doris is predeceased by her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Patches and prior to that, her dog, King. Doris served as a choir member at the Lutheran Church in Bowers and more than 25 years as a choir member at St. Paul's U.C.C. in Fleetwood. She was also a dedicated Sunday school member and always looked forward to attending church services. Doris was a cancer survivor for twenty one years since 1993 and never forgot the part prayer played in her recovery and long and wonderful life. Doris enjoyed tending to her flowers both inside and outside of the house. Her family loved and appreciated the delicious meals she prepared every day and at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Attending school and college events of her grandchildren was a highlight of her life. Doris's memorial service will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA, on Monday November 3rd at 1:30PM a family visitation will be from 12:45 to time of service. followed by private burial in Fleetwood Cemetery. Doris would prefer to have contributions made to St. Paul's U.C.C. in her memory.
