She was born Aug. 22, 1907, in Sayre, Okla. She was a member of the Beneke Memorial United Methodist Church of Houston, and was reared in Galveston.
Survivors include nieces and nephews: Dorothy Felts, Edward Lee Thompson, Sidney Thompson, Calvin Thompson, Marion Wilson, Joyce Everly, Shirley Bennet, Melba Musgrove, Bette Rogers, Charles S. Peek Sr. and Ben K. Peek Jr., and numerous greatnieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother Rollo Thompson and three sisters: Murble Wiley, Opal Lester, and Eva T. Peek.
