	Albany Democrat Herald April 8, 1957 Former Linn Co. Resident Passes Dallas-Marion L. Brown, a former Linn County resident whose daughter, Mrs. Lyle Wallace, now lives in Albany, died at 73 in Dallas Saturday after a long illness. Mr. Brown was born Oct. 30, 1873 [1883], in Washington, and had lived several years on a farm near Shelburn before moving to Corvallis where he was an employee of Oregon State college. His funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 at the Bollman Funeral Chapel in Dallas. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery near Scio. Besides his widow, Nora, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Delma Harner of Salem, two sons, Ernest of Corvallis and Clinton of Dallas; a sister Mrs. Daisy Tedrow of Portland; one half-brother, Harvey Brown of Molalla and two grandson.
