Born June 1, 1906, in Apollo, Pa., son of the late Guy Henry and Mabel Kelly Rearic, he was formerly employed as a bricklayer by Crucible Alloy Division, Colt Industries, Inc., Midland, retiring in 1969; a member of the Methodist Church, Lions Club, and Local 1212, United Steelworkers of America, all of Midland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Lytle Rearic, in 1969. Surviving are a son Donald G. Rearic, Danville, Ky.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Connelly, Wexford; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Ines Felmley, Apollo, and Mrs. Nell Church, New Kensington. Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the D.L. Williams Funeral Home, 848 Midland Ave., Midland, where a service will be conducted Thursday, at 1 p.m. by his pastor, Rev. Allyn Ricketts. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery.
