Cornelius DeHaan, aged 75, of McBain, passed away early Monday morning at Munson Medical Hospital, Traverse City. Surviving are his wife Hilda, five sons, Sidney of Grand Rapids, Cornelius Jr., Cutlerville, Robert, Peter and Gordon all of Marion; seven daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Ann) Phillips of Belmont, Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Vander Heide of Mc Bain, Mrs. Otis K. (Sue) Kiser of Hopkins, Mrs. Ray (Tena) Freyling of Byron Cemer, Mrs. John (Esther) Mulder of McBain, Mrs. Kerwin (Jeanette) Dick of McBain and Miss Ruth DeHaan of Byron Center, 44 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildrn, two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Alice) Sikema of Grand Rapids, Mrs. John K. (Hattie) Sikkema of Marion; one brother, Mr. Richard DeHaan of Newaygo. Funeral services Thursday 2 p.m. at the McBain Christina Reformed Church, with rev. robert D Ritsema officiating. Burial in Mt. View Cemetery. Mr. DeHaan reposes at the Veldsma Funeral Home, McBain.
