- Donna Mae Kinder, 58, of Boonville passed away Monday, August 11, 2008 at Lake View Health Care in Boonville, MO. Memorial Services will be held, Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints in Columbia with Bishop Steve Lambson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
On January 26, 1950, Donna was born the daughter of Don Olen Slaughter and Maybell Trollinger Parton. Her mother survives of Jefferson City, MO. Donna graduated from Hickman High School in Columbia, MO. She worked at the Fulton State Hospital in Fulton, MO as a Nurse's Assistiant for several years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her father, Don Olen Slaughter; step dad, Elmer F. Parton, Jr.; one brother, Ronald Parton and one infant daughter Jessica Renea Kinder.
Mrs. Kinder is survived by her mother, Maybelle Parton of Jefferson City; one brother, Gene Parton of Jefferson City; one sister, Brenda Parton of Columbia, MO ; one daughter Katharine M. "Kate" Kinder of Boonville; one son James Kinder of Columbia; one niece and several nephews and cousins.
