- Samuel James Lee Brooks "Sam" 84, of Hillsboro Missouri. Passed away on April 29, 2020 in St. Louis County Missouri. Born October 26, 1935 in Goodland Missouri. Sam was self-employed and owned Brooks Tuckpointing. He was a 50 plus year member and long-time deacon at First Baptist Church of Hillsboro. He married Geraldine Ray Stack on June 29, 1957 in St. Louis Missouri.

Wife- Geraldine Ray "Gerry" Brooks (nee Stack) of Hillsboro Missouri.
Son- Timothy James Brooks of Hillsboro Missouri.
Son- Craig Michael (Ann) Brooks of Festus Missouri.
Son- Brian Jay Brooks of Hillsboro Missouri.
Granddaughter- Morgan Anna (Dillon) Smith of De Soto Missouri.
Grandson- Jacob Matthew Brooks of Festus Missouri.
Grandson- Alexander Michael (Cassi) Brooks of Hillsboro Missouri.
Grandson- Cory Aaron Brooks of Festus Missouri.
Great Grandchildren- Trenton, Autumn and Logan Smith. And Elijah and Josiah Brooks.
Brother- Bill (Judy) Brooks.
Sister in law- Melba Brooks.
As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a friend to many.

Parents- Ernest and Lola Brooks (nee Trolinger).

Public Visitation: at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St. Hillsboro Missouri. Monday May 4, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 PM.
Please practice social distancing during the visitation.
Funeral Service is Private.
Private Interment will be at Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro Missouri.
Memorials to the First Baptist Church of Hillsboro in his memory would be appreciated.
