- Donald L. Epperly, 72, of Roanoke, went to walk with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2012. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of Garden City Grace Brethren Church. He served four years in the U.S. Air-Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ruth Epperly; son, Steven Epperly; daughter, Michelle Ann Epperly. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Kim) Epperly; children, Michael Epperly, Timothy (Sherry) Epperly, Kevin Epperly, Todd (Dana) Epperly, Melissa Hill, Chrissa (Tim) St. Clair, Kelli (Joe) Peters, Brian (Tiffany) Epperly; seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Flowers. Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Oakey's North Chapel with Pastor Doug Witt officiating. The interment will follow in Godwin Cemetery in Fincastle. The family will be receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday February 21, 2012, at Oakey's North Chapel. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel, Roanoke.
