- James Rochat, 61, of Oxford died Monday, June 3, 2019, at his home in Oxford.
Memorial Services held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Wellington. A memorial has been established with the Slate Valley Baptist Church.
James Ray Rochat was born October 16, 1957, the son of Lindsay and Carol Rochat. He graduated from Udall High School in 1975. James served his country in the United States Navy. James was a machinist for Viola Industries and Rubbermaid. On May 8, 1982, James was united in marriage to Melva Siever. He loved spending time on his Harley.
James is survived by his loving wife, Melva of the home; his father, Lindsay (Diane) of Tulsa, OK; sons: Kevin McClung (Anna) of Winfield, KS and Kyle McClung (Krystal) of Burden, KS; 6 grandchildren: Spencer McClung, Tabener McClung, Olivia McClung, Kostner McClung, Noah McClung and Jessie McClung; a brother, Davin Binyon of Yuba City, CA; a sister Becci Rochat of Winfield, KS; brother-in-law, Jeremy Lankton of Winfield, KS; and sister-in-law, Monica Rochat of San Antonio, TX.
