- John's middle name is probably Henry after his father.
It appears that the informant on Johnnie's (John H. Trolinger 1889-1911) death certificate, "Jack" Radford, is Andrew Jackson "Jack" Radford who was born 2 Mar 1886 in or around Carroll. Reynolds, Missouri and whose parents are Isaiah (Izarah Radford per his headstone) and Margaret Radford. Isaiah's brother is Paton "Pate" Radford whose son is James Jefferson Radford who was married to Samantha Cordellia nee Turner who is the daughter of John Oliver Turner and Cathryn (Catherine) Trolinger. Cathryn's parents are Samuel Trolinger and Elizabeth Jane nee Gallaher. Cathryn's brother is John Henry Trolinger who appears to be the most likely father of John H. "Johnnie" Trolinger. All these people have ties to Reynolds County, Missouri where Johnnie passed away. It appears that Johnnie and Jack were probable friends both being about the same age and both single and both engaged in farming. They may have probably lived near each other. According to Johnnie's death certificate he had been ill for seven years, so perhaps Jack was also giving assistance to Johnnie. It is not known to this author what the state of Johnnie's health was dating back to his earlier childhood years. If Johnnie's health at that time was such that he needed assistance other than what his presumed parents could provide and as a result was living away from their home at the time of the 1900 Census that could serve as possible reason for Johnnie not being included with the rest of the family at that time. In the 1910 Census he is living with Dewitt and Calfernia Howell and it is not known to this author what their relationship was. It should be noted that John Henry Trolinger and Tyldiann also had a son, Thomas Monroe Trolinger, who was born 23 Dec 1889 the same year as Johnnie. Johnnie was born 27 Jan 1889. Even though they were both born in the same year of 1889, there was still approximately eleven months separating their births providing adequate time to still be possible siblings. Johnnie's birth name being John H. Trolinger combined with all the above circumstantial evidence, it is this author's opinion that Johnnie is in all likelihood the son of John Henry Trolinger and wife, Tyldiann unless and until substantial evidence to the contrary surfaces.
