Mr. Brooks was born in Blockton, Iowa and and lived in North Richland Hills for more than 45 years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife, Betty Jo Brooks of North Richland Hills; two daughters, Pam Sanderson and Diane Winborne, both of North Richland Hills; sister, Lorraine O'Dell of Bedford, Iowa; and five grandsons.
