Elizabeth Louisa Parsons was born Elizabeth Louisa Boyczuck on October 28, 1925 in Kansas City, KS to Vladimir (Vod) Boyczuck & Maria Sopich. Her parents came to the United States in 1914 from Poland; changing their last name to Bojeck once they settled in this great land of freedom. Her family and friends referred to her as Betty. She grew up in Kansas City, KS and was the oldest of four children born to Vod & Maria. Betty had a special relationship with all three of her brothers, Bill, Bob & Norman.

On June 7, 1947 Betty married Charles Roy Parsons and they lived in Kansas City, MO. Betty & Roy were not blessed with any children of their own, but were always a big part of Roy's brother, Ray's family. Ray & Eula Parsons had five children and extended family. Betty & Roy loved their dogs. Bridget was their first dog and over the next 60 years they always had a loving dog to call their baby.

Betty loved bowling, reading, puzzles, cross stich & knitting. She also loved to watch her sports on TV, not all sports, but she loved bowling, soccer, golf, basketball & football. In the last few years Betty enjoyed watching her great-great nephew, Landon and her great-great niece, Skylar grow up. She would spend many hours sitting in her chair with her beloved pets, KC or Sam on her lap.

Aunt Betty was a loving Aunt who was dearly loved in return. She will truly be missed and never forgotten.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Vod & Maris Bojeck; her husband of 61 years, Roy, her brothers, Bob, Bill & Norman and her brothers-in-law, Ray Oliver & Robert Parsons. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Eula Parsons of the home & Betty Bojeck of Pittsburg, KS; nieces, Barbara Schroder of the home & Bonnie Jean of Kansas City, MO; nephews, Ronnie & Gary Parsons of Charlotte, NC; great niece, Christina Schroder of the home; great-great nephew, Landon Huck of the home & great-great niece, Skylar Huck of the home.
