  	J.D. Watts, 68, of Pocola, and formerly of Keota, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was Keota police chief from 1966 to 1982 and mayor of Keota from 1982-1986. Funeral service was at Unity Baptist Church in Keota with burial at Keota Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler. He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Beam and Anna Watts both of Stigler; one son, Jimmy and his wife, Debra, of Pocola; one sister, Ruby Roberts of McCurtain, Okla.; one brother, Farrell of Tulsa; and two grandchildren, Andy and April Watts, both of Pocola.
