69, of Louisville, passed away Saturday July 22, 2017. She was born in Dickson Tennessee on September 15, 1947 and was a life long resident of Louisville.
Love. If it's possible to summarize a person, that is what we choose. Love as a Mother, as a Wife and Soulmate, as a Sister, as a 'Nana, as a Confidante, and as a friend. Shirleene always placed all of these above herself and her love knew no bounds. She was loving, kind and thoughtful to literally everyone she met and she never met a stranger. She leaves this Earth way before all of those close to her were ready, as part of God's greater plan for her. Her Arc here on Earth was Immense. She surely fulfilled her mission on Earth and all of us were much better people for sharing her time here. She will always remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
Among those who cherished her are her husband (Marty), Children (Melissa, Phil and his wife Dena, Chris, and Tonia); Brother (Jerry and his wife Vicky), Grandchildren (Jordan, Joseph, Jacob, Mazie); Great Grandchild (Noah) and too many friends to list.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Tuesday at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home 3800 Bardstown Road. Her Funeral Mass will be 10 am Wednesday, July 26, 2017, location for mass to be determined. Burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery 4400 Bardstown Road.
