- "Jerry T. Wade, 60, of Veedersburg, died 12:53 am Sunday January 18, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. Jerry was born August 14, 1948 in Crawfordsville, Indiana the son of Doug and Jean (Lough) Wade.
Jerry had been married to Marilyn McClure, they divorced and he later married Rebecca Harrison, they were also divorced. His father preceded him in death in 1969 and he is also preceded in death by a daughter Rosie Kay Wade.
Survivors include his mother Jean (Max) Mitchell, Waynetown; four daughters, Candy Lynn (Tony) Oaks, Crawfordsville; Lisa Ann (Aram) Batchelor, Logansport; Sheila Marie Wade & Morgan Lee Wade both of Peru, IN; a brother Terry D.(Debra) Wade, Omaha, NE; and four grandchildren. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed as a truck driver and loved being on the road either in his truck or on his motorcycle. He also enjoyed fishing with his family and friends. He was a member of Moose Lodge #6 in Crawfordsville.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday January 21, 2009 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. Visitation will be 4 ? 8 pm Tuesday January 20 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association. Interment with military honors at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro."
