"On the 8th of May 1938 I married Harvey L. Ludlow (Vance's father). On the 13th of Jan 1940, my darkeyed black-haired Danton came. He was 13 months old when Harve left us. We were living in Roosevelt. Shortly after that I took my family & moved in2 a tent at Babe's & Don's (Herbert) & on the 21st of June 1941 I took Bud, Peggy, Vance & Danny & came 2 Logan, Utah on the Greyhound bus."
