Moved to Kansas in the fall of 1867 and lived at their home one mile east and one-half mile north of Wetmore ever since. To this union ten children were born. Three have gone on before and seven remained to mourn .... She united with the M. E. church in 1874. She was one of the charter members of the Methodist church in this city .... The messenger called her to her heavenly home at 3:30 Friday morning, January 20 .... Interment took place in the Wetmore cemetery. The Holton Weekly Signal, February 1, 1905.
