Osceola-Larry passed away on September 10, 2013 at St Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN of natural causes.
Larry was born to Robert H Drover and Elizabeth Rupel Drover in Lexington, KY. He attended St. Patrick Grade School and graduated from Greene Township High School.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, who he married in 1964. Also two daughters, Jeanine Drover (Roy Davis-fiancé) of Greenwood IN; Bonnie Greffet (Jim Greffet) of Toronto Canada; His grandson Samuel Greffet whom Larry absolutely adored; his twin sister Carol Anne Cassady (Pat Cassady) of Bel Air, MD; Brothers: Robert Drover of Surprise, AZ; Greg Drover (Shirley) of Durango, CO. He had many nieces and nephews living across the United States.
Larry owned and operated Laurel Enterprises Auto Repair until his retirement. Before owning his own business, he held Service Manager and Parts Manager positions in various automotive dealerships in the area.
In the 1960's he raced Camaro's with his racing team, Laurel Racing, and was a member of the Sports Car Club of America.
He was a lifetime member of the Coachman Auto Club, with whom he participated in drag racing.
Also he raised quarter horses, bees, flew airplanes and loved fishing. He looked forward to every fall going elk hunting with his brothers in Colorado.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 12 from 3 to 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating.
