  	Dolores Goodrich Drollinger Monsen, 94, passed away peacefully on Nov. 24, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born on Nov. 13, 1921 in Bluebell, Utah, to Gardner Lacy and Jennie Elizabeth Case Goodrich. She graduated from Altamont High School in 1940. She married Glen Drollinger on Jan. 24, 1940, in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away on March 28, 1941. One son, Grant Drollinger was born to them. She taught school for two years; one in Altonah and one in Altamont. While teaching in Altonah, she met Morris Monsen, who had just returned from the service. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on October 30, 1946, and settled in Mt. Emmons, Utah. They had three sons together, Donald, Craig, and Gary. They moved to Vernal in 1956, where she lived the remainder of her life. Morris passed away on June 2, 1985. Dolores loved her family, and they were her whole life. She loved to play games, watch old movies, and visit with friends. She was an active member of the LDS church and loved the gospel. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Floyd Goodrich; a sister, Garda Seeley; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Prothero Monsen; and grandson Jared Barker. She is survived by her sons, Grant (Gayle) Drollinger; Donald (Sherry) Monsen; Craig (Melanie) Monsen; and Gary (Julie) Monsen; 22 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Vernal 3rd Ward Chapel, on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015. Burial was at the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
