  	Hooper, Melvin Cook "Mickey" Melvin Cook "Mickey" Hooper ROY - Melvin Cook "Mickey" Hooper , 89, passed away peacefully Monday, February 14, 2004, at Wasatch Care Center in Ogden, Utah. He was born February 15, 1916, in Marysville, Idaho, the son of Albert Alonzo and Faye Drollinger Hooper. Mickey married Zeltha Helen Clegg on June 24, 1936, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. There were five children born to this union. They later divorced. On January 21, 1961, he married Virginia Marcum. She died December 8, 1987. Mickey was raised in Southeastern Idaho. He graduated from Blackfoot High School. During World War II he worked in the shipyards in Portland, Oregon. He moved to Boise, Idaho, where he spent the rest of his life, until three months ago, when he came to Utah to be near his family. He was a car salesman, owning his own car lot, and later sold mobile homes. Mickey is survived by his five children, Gerry R. Hooper, Mesa, AZ; Sandra H. (Donald) Ashby, Roy; Ronald (Phyllis) Hooper, Mesa, AZ; Rena Blaser, B lackfoot, ID; Roger Rowley, Mesa, AZ; and a stepdaughter, Diana (Jere) Burke, Franktown, CO; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Darrell (Verna) Hooper, Boise, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, Harold and LaVere, and two granddaughters, Megan Rowley and Jennifer Blaser. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
