  Angus W. Minick, 94, of Stone Bluff, passed away 2:21 am Saturday January 11, 2014 at his son Harold's residence in Veedersburg. He was born Oct. 20, 1919 in Stone Bluff, the son of Archibald F. and Goldie Ann Drollinger Minick. He married Genevieve L. Shelley on Aug. 5, 1938. He later married Vera L. Watkins on Jan. 17, 1975. He was preceded in death by two wives; a son, Richard E. Minick; his parents; three sisters and three brothers. Surviving are four sons, Harold (Sherry) Minick, Gerald (Jean) Minick, Carl (Leah Mae) Minick and William (Connie) Minick; two daughters, Sandra (Gerry) Henderson and Helen Jumps; one sister, Ethel Overpeck; 22 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and 38 great-great-grandchildren. Published in the Lafayette, Indiana Journal Courier Jan. 12, 2014 Margaret Easterly, 49 VEEDERSBURG -- Margaret Easterly, 49, of Veedersburg, died at 10:37 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at St. Vincent's Health and Rehabilitation in Williamsport. Born May 20, 1956, to Vera Watkins and the late Chester Garrison, she attended Lafayette schools. Ms. Easterly worked as a nurse's aide. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Vera and Angus Minick of Veedersburg; two daughters, Amy Jones of Lafayette and Rachel N. Dowden (husband: Matt) of West Lafayette; two sisters, Sandy Garrison of Evansville and Debbie Lowery of Mount Vernon; and two brothers, Michael Garrison (wife: Angie) of Lafayette and Allen Garrison of Noblesville. Friends may call 1 hour prior to 1 p.m. service today at Hippensteel Funeral Home, the Rev. Jack Robbins officiating. Interment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Also surviving are 3 grandsons.
