- GRAHAM- Clarie Ellison Trollinger passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Peak Resources of Graham.
Born in Orange County, North Carolina, Clarie was the daughter of the late Ithon Eugene Ellison, Sr. and the late Ovenia Thompson Ellison. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. Ollie Ellison and James Ellison.
Clarie leaves cherished memories to her two children, Pamelia Ellison Farrell and William Deron Trollinger, both of Burlington; four sisters, Carrie Willis of Mebane,
Dorothy Graves of Cedar Grove, Mary Trollinger (Carl) of Graham and Margaret Dorsett of Burlington; two brothers, Ithon Ellison, Jr. (Doris) and William Ellison (Grace), both of Haw River; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Lee?s
Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 3604 Lee?s Chapel Road, Cedar Grove, with
Pastor Steven V. Dickerson, Sr. performing her eulogy and Dr. Christopher Stone presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service at the church and all other times at the homeplace, 5414 Governor Scott Road, Cedar Grove.
A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 1-6:00 pm.
