  I sent William a letter dated 10 Apr 2013 asking him to confirm if Gustabus was his father and asking him who his grandfather might have been. I recieved the following email from him: from: William Trollinger to: ddrollinger@gmail.com date: Mon, Apr 15, 2013 at 8:17 PM subject: Ancestry Dave, The information in your letter is correct. My father's name was Gustabus Jean Trollinger. I believe my grandfather's name was William Thomas Trollinger. I was named after him but never knew him as he and my grandmother Prebble were divorced when my father was very young and my father was mostly raised by his grandparents. He was an only child. My grandmother remarried and had several other children. I believe this to be him as I did a cursory search in Ancestry.com also using by grandfather's name and grandmother's name. It returned with a William Thomas Trollinger from Madison, married to a Prebble Elizabeth Waters. My father had 4 children, my sister Bernice lives in Woodland Wa. my brother and I live in California, he in Selma which was our hometown and I in Fresno. My other brother Ronald died from a brain tumor after serving in the Viet Nam war. My father died in 2003 at 86. Thank you for your information. We did not have much beyond my grandfather's name.
