Hattie Sikkema, aged 81, of McBain, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening at Cadillac Mercy Hospital. Survived by three daughters, Anne Klifman of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Charles (Aleda) Burkholder of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Ken (Arla) Roede of Marion; six sons, Kenneth of Live Oak, Florida, Cyril of Byron Center, Andrew of Cutlerville, Henry of Rockford, Ronald of Marion, Peter of Dryden, Ontario; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Andrew and Mary Sikkema of Clare; three sisters-in-law, Effie DeHaan and Hilda DeHaan bioth of Grand Rapids, Thelma DeHaan of California; 30 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Highland Christian Reformed Church, Rev. Steve Elzinga officiating. Friends may call al the Burkholder Funeral Home in McBain from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Highland Hillside Cemetery. memorial tributes may be made to the World Home Bible League.
