Mrs. Sarah Aune
Sirena Sarah Wollan was born April 15, 1885 at Minneapolis, Minn. The family moved to the Flathead when she was eight years old. With the exception of a few years in North Dakota she had made her home here since. She was married August 9, 1092 (sic), to Ingebert E. Aune and 11 children were born to them. Three children and her husband preceded her in death. Mrs. Aune passed away at her home April 21, 1945, at the age of 60 years.
She is survived by one son, Rudolph Aune, of Kalispell; and seven daughters: Mrs. Inga McLeod of Shelby, Mont., Mrs. Ervin Lee of Marion, Mont., Marie Aune, Mrs. Burl Drollinger, Mrs. Clyde Ames, Mrs. Elbert Olson and Mrs. Len Collier all of Kalispell. There are also six grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. R. S. Wood of Great Falls and Mrs. Martin Dukleth of Whitefish; and three brothers, Eddie Wollan of Central Valley, Calif., Ole Wollan of Whitefish and Robert Wollan of Kallispell, and 10 nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Aune was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church.
