Born on Nov. 29, 1875, she was the daughter of James and Louisa Furr. She was married on Feb. 24, 1895, to Alvin Palmore who preceded her in death five years ago. The deceased was a member of a Hammond Christian Church. Surviving besides Mrs. Compton and Mrs. Wood are another daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Bordman of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Ratcliff of McAllen, Tex., and Mrs. Guyola Mosborough of Fresno, Calif,; a son, Marian Palmore of Tampa, Fla.; and a brother, Paul Furr of Fresno. Burial was in Hammond.
