  	1958 Nov 22: Wabash Plain Dealer - OBIT: MRS. RALPH TITUS The death of Mrs. Hazel Titus, 62, Peru R.R. 2, occurred at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in the Dukes Hospital, Peru, following major surgery. Mrs. Titus, a former resident of Wabash, was born in this county, May 6, 1896, the daughter of Charles and Addie (Brown) Sipole. Her marriage Aug. 16, 1916 was to Ralph Titus who survives. The decedent was a resident of Miami County for 15 years, moving there from Wabash. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Wabash. Other survivors include eight children, Mrs. John (Mary Ellen) Kerr, Charles, Jack, Richard and William, all of Wabash, Thomas, Kansas City, Mo., Jerry, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Burl Karnehm, Peru, one brother, William Sipole, Indianapolis, three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Guttrich, Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Guy Purdy, North Manchester, and Mrs. R.O. Purdy, Wabash, and 14 grandchildren. Two sons, Robert and Raymond, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death. The body was taken to the Wire Funeral Home where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Elmer Polk officiating. Burial will be in the Matlock Cemetery.
