1256 17 October 1621 Bernhardt Hanss Drollinger was buried, a 90 year old man who was married four times for 59 years and 11 weeks.

No proof of his being Melchior's father but is the only male possible. According to the late Sighard Drollinger both paid taxes on vinyards, if it was the same plots that would be supporting evidence for parenthood.

According to a 'Drollinger Family Tree' compiled by my great uncle Jacob Drollinger (and in my possession), he lists Delilah's birth date as 26 Apr 1827. He admits to not having much knowledge about his great grandfather, Eli and Eli's children, therefore, the error in this discrepancy in birth years could be on Jacob's side. The portion of the sheet where he describes the family of Elias and his children reads exactly as follows:

Drollinger Family Tree Compiled by Jacob M. Drollinger 150-153 S. Rancho Santa Fe. Rd. San Marcos Calif. April 1986. This starts with my Great Grandfather Eli Drollinger, who lived near Wabash Indiana. He had eight children.

Trolinger, George W. (I22286)

1299 1850 Spartanburg Co., SC census: I would argue that W. Trollinger and H. Trollinger were NOT husband and wife and that census enumerator correctly recorded sex for each of them as "F". My primary rationale is that, although Hulda was living with Mr. James Morrison in 1860 as his wife and although Bomer was using surname Morrison in 1850, a) James Morrison and "Miss" Hulda Trollinger went to the bother of having a legal marriage recorded in 1865, and b) Bomer lived in James & Hulda Morrison household in 1870 Haywood Co., NC census as Bomer Trollinger (along with his wife Julia MNU Trollinger) and Bomer used the Trollinger surname forever after. I believe Albert Bomer Trollinger was born out of wedlock to Emiline Mahulda Trollinger and an unknown father. Further, I believe H. Trollinger, Hulda Trollinger, Hulda Morrison, Emiline Mahulda Morrison are all the same person based on age, location, household, and familial relationships recorded in the census records.

It is uncertain as to what her maiden name really is. She could be a Trollinger or married to a Trollinger or merely assuming the Trollinger surname. There is too little known about her to place her with any certainty. She may had died prior to the 1880 which would explain some of the confusion surrounding her. She shows up in 2 census and one newspaper article regarding her marriage to Morrison. Placed here as a consort of William Trollinger pure guesswork on my part. GLD Dec 2012

I believe it is possible that Hulda MNU and Emaline are one in the same people.
Gordon isn't so sure, but isn't saying it's not possible either.
