56702 Willie was allegedly born 3 Oct 1898 in KY and died 18 Nov 1898 in KY (ref FamilySearch.org for Willie Stacer 27CH-JWT identification number). If true his birth date of 3 Oct 1898 conflicts with that of Edna Ethel who was born 19 Jul 1898. They both could not have been born two months apart. Requires further evidence. Staser, Willie (I15116)

56715 Willits Cemetery: A list of burials in the Willits Cemetery, Mendocino Co., CA.
Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by pcarna@pacific.net
Updated 11 Oct 2004
This list of names and dates was taken from the tombstones in the Willits
Cemetery. As with most cemeteries, there are many older unmarked graves in this
one. This cemetery is the second one for the town of Willits, Mendocino County,
California. It was originally established as the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with the
first burials being for the Odd Fellows and their family members. This cemetery
is maintained by the Cemetery District of the Redwoods. They have a card index
that covers this cemetery and those of Little Lake and Laytonville. Their
records have been copied and are housed at the Mendocino County Historical
Society, Held-Poage Research Library, 603 W. Perkins St., Ukiah, CA 95482.
To find this cemetery, drive west out of Willits on Highway 20, going towards
Ft. Bragg. The cemetery is located up on a small hill on the north side of
Highway 20, 1.3 miles out of Willits. There is a white sign which reads Willits
Cemetey, but it's up on the hill and hard to see. The access road angles off to
the right, but slow down before you exit off of Highway 20.
For additional information on this and other Mendocino County Cemeteries and
updates to this list, see the web site: Mendocino County Indexes

So glad all your pain and struggles and suffering are over. I love you, miss you and think of you daily. Good bye until I see you again.

56749 Windsor Review, Windsor MO, Feb 28 1891 - We are sorry to chronicle the death of Mrs. M. Trolinger, of Leesville, who was killed by a falling tree, in this township about 5 o'clock Monday evening, Feb. 16th, 1891. Mrs. Trolinger and two sons, Archie and Sammie, one aged 9 and the brother 16 years, while returning home from her sons J. C. Trolinger. About a half mile from the home of her son, they stopped the team to load the wagon box with a small load of dry wood. Archie began to chop away on a dead tree which the top had broken off, and had been burned partially off at the ground, but he became tired. Mrs. Trolinger took the axe and began to cut and gave only a few strokes when it began to fall. Its course was opposite to what was expected and she ran directly beneath it and was caught under the tree. Archie pulled her from beneath it, and says she breathed a few times. John Jordan, Claud and Willie Foster arrived on the ground in a few minutes, but found Mrs. Trolinger dead, no pulse visible. Deceased was the widow of Dr. John Trolinger, who died Dec. 25th, 1885 at his farm residence near Palo Pinto, Benton county. Mrs. Trolinger was loved by all who knew her, and had a very extended acquaintance in Henry, St. Clair, Cass, Johnson, and Benton counties. Deceased was 49 years old, and has been a devoted member of the Christian Church for 35 years. She leaves 8 children, 5 boys and 3 girls. W. H. and J. C. Trolinger who are farmers in this township, Attie C. Shrum of Adair, Indian Territory, James Trolinger, postmaster and merchant at Palo Pinto, Benton County, Mattie, Archie, Allie, and Sammie who were living at home. The funeral was preached at Mt.
