      Charles Eugene "Gene" Trullinger, 81, died at home on December 31, 2010. He was born August 12, 1929 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He was the first born to Don and Ruth Trullinger and had one sister, Barbara, Jane, who pre-deceased him.
      He is survived by his wife Lu and her children: Susan (Eric) Scheidtmann, Lori Newman, Craig (Laurie) Claver and Case (Debbie) Blanken. Four sons: Chuck (Kim) Brickley, Mark (Lorie), Karl and David (Michaela) Trullinger, one daughter Catherine (Tomas) Harris, twenty-two grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews too numerous to name.
      He was an HVAC Contractor and owned Enterprise Service Company in Redding until he retired in April 1991. He loved to hunt and fish and spent as much time as he could in the mountains and on the lakes of Northern California where he made many friends.
      He was proud to have served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne in the late fifties. Most of all he was proud to be a Master Mason and belonged to many affilated bodies.
      A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2001 in the Masonic Family Center at 160 Masonic Avenue, Redding, CA.
