Notes |
- Milton's middle name is no doubt Asa in honor of his father's father, Asa Epperson.
As a young man, Mr. Epperson crossed the plains in 1862. He established a ranch on Cherry Creek in the Coquille Valley. When he became ill, he moved in with a relative, Jack MacDonald, who lived along Daniels Creek. He never married.
