Suribachi having just given the ultimate gift to their country. The obligation to Never Forget the gift of those two men and 82 other South Bay residents is the purpose of this page and in essence this web site. The images and information on this page would not have been possible without the efforts of John L. Proudfoot, former Post 184 Adjutant Service Officer. After the poignant process of gathering these images and dates, a display was dedicated on May 13th, 1946. It can still be view at the Post.
