Marshall England, Bedford Merchant, dies suddenly
Marshall England well known Bedforford businessman, died suddenly yesterday morning at his residence on East Penn Street. He had complained of not feeling well only a day or so. Death was attributed to a heart condition. He was 52 years old.
Mr England, owner of the England Farm Equipment Company East Pitt Street, was born Oct 27th 1897, in Colerain Township, the son of Edward P. and Elizabeth (Diehl) England. He was married to the former Lillian Wisegarver, who preceded him in death a number of years ago.
He is survived by his mother: two sons, Edward and Jay, both students at Penn State and a sister, Miss Anna England, Pittsburgh. Membership was held in F. & A. M. No. 320, Elks Lodge No. 1707 and St John's Evangelical and Reformed Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:O'clock Sunday afternoon at the Barefoot Funeral home, the Reverand Thomas D. Garner officiating. Internment will be in Bedford Cemetery.
