Funeral Service Held For Mrs. Alford Safley, long time resident of this community, were held at the McCormick funeral home Wednesday with the Rev. Stanley Schlick officiating. Burial was in the Red Oak Grove Cemetery, north of Tipton.
Mrs. Safley died in her home here Monday night following a brief illness. She was born April 15, 1861, in Illinois.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, William Ferguson of California, and James Ferguson of Des Moines; one daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Wiesbard of Cedar Falls, and a stop son, Howard J. Safley of Tipton.
