Notes - Melissa A. Van Camp moved to Kansas from Iowa in 1865 with her first son William Van Camp, and located in the Salt Creek community south of Atchison. She wed W. R. Drollinger, post master of Pleasant Ridge, Leavenworth county.
In 1870 the family moved to Farmington. where Mr. Drollinger served as a merchant and post master. They were the parents of Commodore F. Drollinger, Merrit S. Drollinger, Anna L. Blomberg Brink and Mary Stella Higley.
