Surviving are her husband, Gordon Snead; her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Brian Ward, of Troutville; grandchildren, Brianna Ward, of Troutville, and Mitchell Trollinger, of Christiansburg; and a special cousin, Beverly Cumbie, of Salem. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite 2700, New York, NY 10006. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends following the service.
