Ann Druliner
1810 - 1840 (29 years)-
Name Ann Druliner - Ann's true first name may well be Hannah. In the biographical sketches of the Schimpf family regarding Jacob (see excerpt below) she is identified as 'Hannah Drollinger'. Also, her father's mother was named Hannah, so it seems entirely likely that Hannah could be her true first name and that she was named in her honor as it was a very common tradition of the day and that for whatever reason, she simply chose to go by the name of Ann, a nickname of Hannah.
Biographical sketches of the Schimpf family "At an early age Jacob went west, and secured work on a farm in La Porte County, IN, where he met his wife and he was married on 22 Feb 1838, to Hannah Drollinger by the Reverand John Bowell of La Porte, she was born 16 June 1810. They settled after their marriage in Olive Township, St Joseph County and there were four children ..."
