Scio-O'dell Daniel Young, 64. West Scio Mobile Home Park, died Tuesdayat his home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday inMiller's Cemetery in the Shelburn-Scio area. The Rev. Paul Null willofficiate and Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton is in charge ofarrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Oregon Heart Association.
Young was born July 13, 1917 in Spartanburg, S.C. and moved to theScio area in 1940.
He had worked in the timber industry and as a farmer until 1962 whenhe retired.
Survivors include two sons Robert, Albany and Larry, Salem; adaughter, Carol Martin of Salem; and seven grandchildren.
