      Nannie Vick Goff Jones, 80, of Greensboro, passed on to be with herLord and Savior on March 15, 2012, at Hospice House of High Point.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 this afternoon, March 18, at thechapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, 117 NW Third St., Snow Hill.Interment will follow at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
      She was born Dec. 3, 1931, the oldest child of Arthur and Queen West.She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
      Nannie Vick is survived by her oldest daughter, Rhonda Trollinger andher husband, Phil of Greensboro; and daughter, Sylvia Johnson, ofYoungsville; grandchildren, Ashley Black and Jenny Chilton both ofGreensboro, Brian Johnson of Fremont, and Kristen Johnson of HollySprings; great-grandchildren, Haley Chilton, Julie Chilton, DallasChilton, Skylar Black, Summer Black, and Melissa Johnson; brother,Ronald West of Stantonsburg; and sisters, Cleo McKeel of Stantonsburgand Judy Baxter of Virginia.
      In addition to her parents, Nannie Vick was preceded in death by herbrother, Mack; and sisters, Louise, Geraldine and Imogene.
      The family will receive friends today at 1 p.m. prior to the serviceat the funeral home.

      Sylvia Diane Johnson, 60, of Youngsville passed away Saturday, March31, 2012 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 21,1951 in Greene County, the daughter of Robert Branch Goff and NannieVick West Goff. She worked at Crossroads Ford in Wake Forest.
      Johnson is survived by her significant other, Tommy Higgins; children,Brian Johnson of Fremont, Kristen Johnson of Holly Springs and StephenMichael Higgins of Selma; grandchildren, Mellissa Leigh Johnson ofRaleigh and Nicolas Hunter Higgins and Alexis Jewel Higgins both ofSelma; a sister, Rhonda Trollinger and her husband, Phil, ofGreensboro; and many extended family and friends.
      Private services will be held at a later date.
