- Marc W. Trolinger, 73, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in his home.
Marc was born in Cape Girardeau, MO on May 31, 1951 to James and Frances (Feigert) Trolinger. The family would move to Long Beach, CA when he was ten and Marc would graduate from Woodrow Wilson High School with the class of 1969.
He served in the U.S. Air Force until his Honorable Discharge in 1973. Marc was stationed in England where he worked in communications intelligence as a radio intercept analyst.
On February 8, 1974, Marc and Sue were married and settled in her hometown of Warsaw, Indiana. They just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past February.
Marc worked in the orthopedic industry at DePuy and then Biomet until his retirement. The couple loved sailing locally on their boat and traveling, and Marc enjoyed watching golf. He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral in Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his wife, Sue, and their children: James Trolinger, Peter (Lori) Trolinger and Jill (Adam) Schutz; 7 grandchildren: Allyssa and Andrew Trolinger, Madeleine, Noah and Olivia Trolinger and Trevor and Tyson Schutz; and his sister.
Marc was preceded in death by his parents, three grandchildren, and his brother Thomas.
Private graveside services will be held in the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with Military Honors.
