Notes - He was a member of GAR Post #42 Tomah Wisconsin being #45. His CivilWar service was in Company H 10th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. He waswounded in the right leg at Stones River TN 31 Dec 1862. He wascaptured at Chickamauga 20 Sep 1863 and suffered from chronicgastritus and scurvy.
