  	NICHOLS - Dorothy M. Nichols, age 84, of Grand Rapids passed away on July 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard. Dorothy is survived by her children, Lyle E. Nichols, Becky Keech, Marty A. Nichols, and Carol A. (Mike) Mancewicz; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her cousins; nieces, and nephews. Dorothy retired from Knape and Vogt after 40 years of service. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday July 21, 2011 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, 1833 Plainfield NE. Friends may visit with her family on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society.
