He was born August 13, 1908 in Fountain County, the son of Webster and Caroline Caldwell Drollinger. He was married to Dorothy Dobbs at Covington, December 29, 1935. She survives. He retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad in 1973. He was a member of the Sterling Christian Church and the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees Union. Surviving, besides the wife, are: several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Monday at the Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating.
